In just a few weeks, on Saturday, November 7, 2020, the Toronto Children’s Ministry Conference will be happening. Not only will we be celebrating 10 years of investing and equipping children and family ministry leaders but this year it will be fully virtual allowing for more participation.
This one day conference that CBOQ co-sponsors along with Wycliffe College, Tyndale Seminary and the Toronto Diocese of the Anglican Church is a high quality training event designed for pastors, ministry leaders and volunteers in children and family ministry. Last year over 400 people gathered at Tyndale Seminary for this day of training.
This year, we have also focused our workshop topics specifically around the theme of “Re-imagining Children’s Ministry in a COVID-shaped World” and invited speakers, academics and practitioners to specifically address the practical shifts and tools needed to effectively navigate ministry in this new landscape. Participants are invited to attend 2 Plenary Sessions and 4 workshops throughout the day, via Zoom in this digitally interactive experience. We are pleased to have Rev. Jeff Harmon, Lead Pastor at The Pearl Church in Edmonton, Alberta as our keynote speaker.
