Book Review

This delightful book, written by Tina Cho, is based on the story from John 21, where Jesus shares a breakfast with his disciples. Beautifully written and illustrated, this book shares 12 different cultures with a commonly eaten breakfast. This book is wonderful for learning about different foods that are eaten around the world while sharing a common practice of worshipping the same God! It is a wonderful way to learn about beginning the day together with God, and would be a lovely gift for families. The book is aimed at kids ages 4-8, but I think kids and adults of all ages will enjoy this story. I also love the underlying theme of inclusion and kindness that runs through the book. This book is informative and creates great conversation starters.

I highly recommend adding this book to your church library, your home or gifting it to the families in your community.
