Book Review

This is the newest book by authour Glenys Nellist and it is absolutely delightful! Similar to her ‘Twas the Night of Christmas’ book, she uses the familiar rhyming pattern of the classic “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” poem. In this book she writes a lovely rendition of the Easter story. The illustrations beautifully bring the story alive. This is a wonderful book, geared for younger elementary age kids according to the publisher (ages 4-8) but easily a book that will delight all ages and make the events of Easter memorable for all. I recommend picking up a copy for your church, gifting the kids/families in your life with a copy this Easter. This would be a wonderful story for grandparents to read to grandkids over zoom this Easter if an in person visit isn’t possible!

She has also released a FREE Resource and Activity pack to accompany this book which includes Easter activities for younger and older children, an Easter pageant and an Intergenerational StoryWalk event. You can download the resource here. If you have not already planned your Easter event definitely check out this resource!
