For many churches, summer is a significant time of ministry to children and families through VBS/Day Camps. Several of the churches in our family will be hosting 1 or more weeks this summer where kids can have fun, meet new friends and discover Jesus (some for the very first time!)

This is a very significant opportunity to deepen faith within the lives of kids who already attend our churches, as well as reach out to kids in our community with the love of God. It is also a wonderful way to invest in adults and young people in leadership as they serve and disciple the children who attend. Often this ministry involves many months of planning and preparation ahead of time and the investment of many volunteers to make it happen!

This year, I have compiled as many churches as I could into a prayer calendar so that we can intentionally be remembering these churches as they share Christ through this valuable ministry.
